About 10-15mins driving distance from the city center. Parking is located next to it (around 2mins walking distance) where u have to walk through an alley to hotel main door. Perhaps they can install a street light in the alley way or a back door near to parking lots coz it is quite dark and scary to walk alone. Breakfast is lack of variety but acceptable. Other than these, overall is satisfied.

We recently stayed at Furano Winery Hitohana Hotel and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The hotel exceeded our expectations in many aspects, and I would like to commend the team for providing such a comfortable and welcoming stay. One of the biggest highlights was the thoughtful range of complimentary amenities. Having free washing machines and dryers was incredibly convenient, especially for travellers on longer trips. The onsen was clean, relaxing and well maintained, and we appreciated the complimentary green tea, roasted green tea, lemon water and drinking water available outside the onsen, which made the experience even more refreshing. The staff were consistently warm, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were always willing to assist whenever we had questions, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. Our room was spacious, quiet and very well equipped. The kitchenette was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare simple meals. We were also pleasantly surprised that the hotel had already prepared a proper bed for the third person in our group before our arrival. The refrigerator included a freezer compartment, which was particularly useful for storing ice cream and frozen food that we purchased during our trip. We also appreciated that complimentary coffee and tea were available throughout our stay. One of the most memorable experiences was the daily complimentary wine tasting during happy hour. As an added bonus, the hotel also provided us with a voucher to redeem a complimentary bottle of wine at Furano Winery, which was a wonderful gesture and a unique way to showcase the local winery. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I hope the hotel will consider a few areas for improvement. The hotel's location is slightly away from central Furano, so having a car is highly recommended. This was not a major issue for us, but guests relying on public transport may find it less convenient. The parking arrangement could also be improved. The car park is located about a three-minute walk uphill from the hotel. While the distance itself is manageable, the walking path consists of loose stones without a proper pavement. At night, the area is very dark, and during rainy weather, it can become slippery and potentially hazardous, particularly for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. Additional lighting and a paved walkway would greatly improve both safety and accessibility. Lastly, although breakfast was enjoyable, we found the selection somewhat limited compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Furano. For example, during our previous stay at La Vista Furano, the breakfast offered a wider variety of Japanese specialties, including fresh sashimi and Furano melon, as well as complimentary late-night soba, which created a more memorable dining experience. At Furano Winery Hitohana, the breakfast leaned more towards Western offerings. Expanding the selection of local Japanese dishes and regional specialties would further enhance the overall guest experience. Despite these suggestions, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend Furano Winery Hitohana Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, spacious and comfortable accommodation in Furano. The generous complimentary amenities, excellent service and thoughtful hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit such an enjoyable one.

Nicely renovated hotel. Unfortunately staff are new and surprising not many front desk staff can converse in English.  Breakfast was good with many choices. However, we couldnt eat most of the time as my family has to go for activities early like skiing and local tours. The cafe  staff allows us to start breakfast before the opening time but an English speaking lady with a coat turned up one morning and stopped us from starting breakfast early before the opening time. She was so rude and told us wait till 630 before we can touch the food! I dont see why we cannot start with cereals that was already on display.  I will return to stay as the hotel is new, rooms are large and the onsen is clean and comfortable. There was a gym and laundry facilities too

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay very comfortable from check-in to check-out. The location is excellent, only about a 3-minute walk from the tram station, which makes getting around very easy. There are also many restaurants nearby, so finding food is never a problem. The room was clean and well maintained, and the onsen was very nice and relaxing after a long day. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pour nous, c'est la deuxième fois dans cet hôtel magnifique et chaque fois qu'il est comme vivre un rêve: il se sent comme être dans une bulle grâce à tout le bien-être dans lequel vous êtes immergé. Le restaurant est un restaurant qui vous permet de vous sentir à la maison et de vous sentir à la maison. La nature est insurmontable, chaque jour vous trouvez vous-même rencontrer des créatures spectaculaires même à quelques pas. Vous ne trouverez pas un endroit similaire dans tout le Japon, où l'homme se rencontre avec la nature dans une combinaison parfaite d'équilibre, d'harmonie et de respect profond. Aucune quantité de mots ne peut exprimer mon sentiment à propos de ce village. Le séjour inclut le dîner plus petit déjeuner. La baignoire privée au jardin est si relaxante. Tabino Hotel Ishikari (旅之酒店石狩) is a relatively new hotel that opened in late 2025, and it quickly became one of my favorite stops during my Hokkaido trip. Located in Ishikari City, it’s about a 15–20 minute drive from central Sapporo areas like Hokkaido University or Odori Park, making it a smart choice for those who want easy access to the city without staying right in the busy downtown. One of the first things that struck me was the massive parking lot—it’s a spacious, flat, free parking area with plenty of spots, even for larger vehicles (though larger ones might need prior arrangement). No stress about circling for a space or paying extra fees, which is a huge plus for self-drive travelers in Hokkaido. The room felt pleasantly spacious compared to many budget or business hotels in Japan. I could fully open my suitcase, unpack comfortably, and still have plenty of room to move around. All rooms come equipped with handy in-room amenities like a washing machine, microwave, and fridge, which are great for longer stays or if you want to heat up snacks. The surroundings are remarkably quiet and peaceful, giving that relaxing escape-from-the-city vibe, especially at night. Yet, convenience is never compromised—there’s a 24-hour convenience store (like a 7-Eleven) just a 1-minute walk away, perfect for grabbing late-night snacks, drinks, breakfast items, or anything you need without driving. It’s such a thoughtful location balance. One of the biggest highlights is the on-site hot spring facility. The large public bath uses an artificial onsen inspired by Noboribetsu’s Shirakaba-no-Yu (white birch hot spring), with milky, smooth water that’s incredibly soothing after a day of driving or sightseeing. There’s also a sauna, making it easy to unwind and recharge right at the hotel—no need to hunt for external onsens. Cleanliness is top-notch throughout the property. Everything from the lobby and corridors to the rooms and bath areas felt spotless and well-maintained, with fresh linens and no lingering odors. It’s clear the staff takes pride in keeping the place immaculate. Overall, Tabino Hotel Ishikari offers excellent value: comfortable, feature-packed rooms, unbeatable parking convenience, that perfect mix of tranquility and nearby 24/7 shopping, plus the bonus of relaxing in the hot springs without leaving the hotel. It’s ideal for self-drive explorers, families, or anyone wanting a peaceful yet practical base near Sapporo. I’d definitely stay here again on future trips!

The traditional tatami room truly impressed us, but the highlight of our stay was the open-air private sulphur onsen in our room. It was incredibly therapeutic, and I absolutely loved the natural sulphur scent that filled the space—it made the experience feel authentic and deeply relaxing. A heartfelt shoutout to the staff for their exceptional hospitality. From the warm welcome upon arrival to assisting with our luggage and thoughtfully preparing our beds, every detail was handled with care. They were genuinely kind and attentive throughout our stay. Although the hotel is quite old, we appreciated it as part of its vintage charm. It feels like a place rich with history and stories, which adds a unique character you don’t often find in modern hotels. The 7-course kaiseki dinner completely blew us away. From the exquisite plating to the impeccable service, every dish reflected the chef’s dedication and craftsmanship. Even breakfast exceeded our expectations. While described as a buffet, the beautifully presented bento-style offerings along with the comforting soup-based dishes were both satisfying and delicious. Yes, the price is on the higher side, but it is absolutely worth every penny we spent.

J'ai séjourné à l'hôtel Global View Hakodate pendant trois nuits lors d'un voyage en voiture. L'hôtel dispose d'un parking privé, ce qui est pratique, même s'il est payant (environ 1 650 yens pour trois nuits). Côté rapport qualité-prix, l'hôtel est très abordable et le petit-déjeuner ainsi que l'accès à l'onsen sont inclus, ce qui est un vrai plus. La chambre était également assez spacieuse et j'ai apprécié la présence d'un lave-linge, avec des sèche-linge à pièces disponibles au rez-de-chaussée. Cependant, le plus gros point négatif a été la literie. En soulevant les draps, j'ai trouvé des cheveux et des peluches, ce qui était désagréable. Comme il était tard et que nous étions fatigués, nous ne l'avons pas signalé immédiatement. Pendant la nuit, nous avons tous les deux ressenti des démangeaisons. Cela était peut-être dû au tissu ou à l'usure des draps, car ils étaient un peu rêches et irritants pour la peau. Nous avons finalement porté des manches longues et des pantalons pour dormir, ce qui a été bénéfique. Le lendemain, j'ai fait part de mes commentaires à la réception. Ils nous ont indiqué que toutes les chambres utilisaient la même literie et nous ont proposé une couverture plus épaisse, mais nous avons décliné l'offre. Dans l'ensemble, l'hôtel offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix et de bonnes prestations, mais j'espère qu'ils amélioreront la propreté et la qualité de la literie.
