Hôtels 3 étoiles à Catalogne, Espagne

On arrival the holiday centre was as photographed on the website, fresh, bright, airy and modernised. Apartments are spacious with 2 wide single beds pushed together in the main room which leads off on to an exceptionally generous size balcony. Plenty of room for kids to play, loungers and table and chairs etc. the bed in the hallway (pull down from wall) was comfy and great for my 9 year old son. The livingroom couches were also single beds and of good quality and wide enough, seem some very slim, thin ones before - these were very comfy although never slept in by us as my daughter had a cot.  Check in and out was seamless but be aware a deposit is taken (around £10 per night and given back at end of apartment is left satisfactory) so factor this in to your spends needed initially.  The thing that stood out for us as a family was the lovely man and his assistants who ran the kids club, entertainment, pool games and really engaged with the children despite his obviously long days. They are a credit to the hotel and I don’t think it would attract as many families if this small but important team weren’t on board - my son Jacob loved kids club and made some great friends for the week. Now is still recommend this hotel with given some recommendations to change things. The hotel caters to very large, roudy crowds of preteens/teens on school holiday stays. They are chaotic and woke our toddler several times, running through corridors screaming, taking up lift where pushchairs and wheelchair users should have priority and teens/groups managed more carefully as they would be if from anywhere else. Called to reception to complain and inform but was pretty much brushed off as they’re excited. Just not great for the rest of us also wanting to enjoy our apartment, sleep and have children. We waited an incredibly long time with 20-30 teens in front of us. I called down to reception one evening as they were shouting, banging and screaming in the halls. Some hotels do not cater to exceptionally large groups for this reason, especially when catering to family holidays also - I’d only stay again if I knew there was no large groups such as this booked to stay. We only ate breakfast the last morning as we preferred to go out to dinners etc as a social thing in the evenings with the children as we don’t drink alcohol much when have young children with us. Food was as expected in hotels, nothing bad to note and plenty of options which are the norm.  If you like quiet this hotel might not be for you. Po. Kew is loud due to entertainment although this didn’t bother us with it stopping at 11pm but the ‘quieter’ side facing out to the road/side was filled with already mentioned large groups of teens shouting back and forth to each other continually. Highly recommend checking if these school trips are on when booking if you like a quiet, relaxed family holiday (most of us do when we have young children). All in all the hotel is great location, good sized rooms and entertainment for much younger children but would be put off returning due to the issues mentioned.

J'ai demandé une chambre en étage élevé, loin de l'ascenseur. On m'a cependant attribué une chambre au rez-de-chaussée, à côté de l'ascenseur. Le bruit dans les couloirs est fort, et on l'entend clairement tard le soir. De plus, on ne voit rien à travers la fenêtre, car il y a un mur à l'extérieur. La vue est assez mauvaise, on ne voit rien. L'emplacement est bon, près de la station de métro Espanya. L'arrêt de la navette aéroport se trouve également devant l'hôtel. Un bon restaurant est à 1 minute à pied. Le personnel de la réception est très aimable, à l'exception d'un homme qui porte des lunettes. Le service en chambre est plutôt bon et propre. L'eau de la douche est chaude et puissante, ce qui est appréciable. Consigne à bagages gratuite.

The hotel is located a few minutes walk from Casa Batlló, as well as the metro station. The hotel was cute, staffs at the receptional are rather friendly. The room was big enough to open large suitcases. The design might not be my cup of tea, but I like that they hide the TV, especially the red lights. What we didn't like is the mattress, we both have very serious back pain after our first night sleep, we stayed for 3 nights, it was a nightmare. Perhaps people like soft mattress here in Barcelona. The walls are not sound proofed, in the morning the cleaning lady woke us up by talking loudly in the room next door, and at night the lady next door talking on the phone regardlessly. We could hear every single word she said, needless to disclose here.

L'hôtel est situé à proximité de la gare de Colblanc. L'enregistrement et le départ se font en quelques minutes à pied ; prévoyez donc suffisamment de temps. Le personnel de la réception était extrêmement serviable. Le petit-déjeuner n'était pas très copieux, mais il était savoureux, varié et de bonne qualité. La chambre était simple et la douche offrait une bonne pression d'eau.

Nice, clean hotel with a decent-sized room and comfortable beds. I especially loved the shower! There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, which was really convenient. A couple of things would have made the stay even better — having a kettle in the room and a proper bin. There was an illy espresso capsule machine, but it didn’t work properly. Also, there wasn’t a bin in the room itself, just a very small one in the bathroom.

Accueil et personnel très aimable. Des conseils pour visiter Lisbonne 😊. Chambre propre et confortable avec 1 bouteille d'eau à disposition, bouilloire, thé. Des petites attentions à l' accueil comme des bonbons, des petites pâtisseries et des citronnades.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. We enjoyed the stay as the location is within walking distance for food, shops and near the Metro station. The buffet serves 24 hours is awesome as in the middle of the night, we could just walk-in and enjoy the drinks and snacks and chit-chat. The counter staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall we have a great time during the stay!

This is our 1st time having such a bad experience stay. We were asked via WhatsApp to provide our personal passport info and to pay hotel tax via a payment link in the WhatsApp, it was received well in advance before our check-in. We found this way is very unusual, and due to uncertainty whether the message was from the property , we declined to pay the tax upfront. Then the so-called property staff claimed we disrespect them. I found absurd as we have fully paid our accommodation and told them will fully pay the tax upon check-in, of which it was a small amount as compared to the total 3 nights stay rate. After checked in, we found only one toilet roll is given without any tissue. So we requested for an extra, and becoz the weather was warm, we asked for a thin bedsheet instead of a given duvet. The property staff said need to charge us £50 simply for a thin pc of bedsheet!! We found this is ridiculous and giving us an extra toilet roll, they were unhappy. What is the cost of a toilet roll as compared to the high rate stay of this property as compared to nearby accommodation? They gave us an under expectation unit, with no view (see photo) , which is so much difference from the advertised photo. They objected to change room for us even though we told them the safe deposit box is spoilt on the day after checking in. Goodness was that they wanted us to clear the trash bins to bring it to ground floor on our last day ! I havn’t encountered this at all even in dome AirBnB units. We asked for Trash bags as their bin has not bag, the property staff said they provide no trash bags! So how are we supposed to help them to clear the trash if no bags provided? U expect us to buy trash bag and help them to clean? Totally ridiculous! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED as the unit is small , odd room layout

Mon séjour a été très satisfaisant. L'emplacement est excellent, ce qui facilite les déplacements, et l'hôtel est à quelques pas du métro et des principales attractions. La chambre était propre et bien rangée, la literie confortable, et l'insonorisation était bonne, garantissant un sommeil de qualité. Le service à la réception était professionnel et efficace, et la communication s'est faite sans encombre. Dans l'ensemble, le rapport qualité-prix est excellent, idéal pour les courts séjours ou les voyages d'affaires. Je choisirai cet hôtel à nouveau la prochaine fois.
