4 Senior backpackers in Japan ”stumbled” onto this gem of a Japanese inn next to the Arakawa River. Less than 10 minute walk from the Kami-Nagatoro station and 10 minute walk to Nagatoro Station. We chose location due to proximity to river and start of river boat downstream river ride-sites. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown throughout our two-day stay. We were late in coming out of the mountains of Gunma prefecture (2 hour plus train ride away) and called the inn to notify and were subsequently told that this was no problem for check-in and supper. Fortunately we made up time lost and got to the inn earlier that expected and enjoyed the serene tree-lined river and men's and women's communal furo (shower/bath also in rooms) with outdoor views before dining. Then...we were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the dinner! A real treat to get a 7+ course Japanese meal featuring the specialty vegetables and protein of the region! Upon departure we chose to walk with packs back to Kami-Nagatoro Station, along the river, but the proprietor had the Inn van ready and waiting to take us to the train station. The included breakfast's were also multi-course Japanese style, with regional specialties. Granted, the hotel is somewhat time-worn, probably seeing its zenith in the 80's and 90's but all the facilities were cleaning, usable and safe. All staff went made a great effort to ensure that we were enjoying the locale and the Inn. This location, in our opinion is much more serene and ”touristy” than the main area surrounding Nagatoro station but is only 10 minutes walking from that action. If opportunity arises, we will return. The Saitama Museum of Natural is just across the street but this large and modern facility was not open on our late arrival and on Monday. We left on Tuesday morning, but wanted to visit this place also.

Our stay at Hotel Green Core was absolutely exceptional from start to finish! If you are traveling with a family, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Here is why we loved it so much: - Incredibly Kid-Friendly: Traveling with young kids (a 7-year-old and a 3-year-old) can be challenging, but this hotel made everything so smooth and relaxing for us. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and they really understand how to accommodate families. -Spotlessly Clean: Cleanliness is always my top priority, and this place exceeded all expectations. The rooms and common areas were perfectly maintained and immaculate, which gave me such peace of mind. -Flawless Experience: Literally everything was good. The service, the comfort, the attention to detail—it was all just perfect and well thought out. We had a wonderful time here and it made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. A true 10/10 experience, we will definitely be back!

The hotel provided an exceptional experience during our week-long stay. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. The daily dinners were a delightful surprise, offering variety and quality. The room was clean, and the hot spring was relaxing. Everything we needed was readily available.

先日、仕事の関係で初宿泊させていただきました。 こういったタイプの宿泊施設は初めてだったので、正直不安でしたが、ホテルの従業員さんの対応も素晴らしく✨ホテルもとても綺麗で気に入ったので、別日にも予約して再宿泊させていただきました。 平日だったので空いていたので、私的には良かったです。 仕事の関係じゃなければ、ゆっくり出来たのですが…取り敢えず宿泊させていただくだけ…になったことが残念です。 時間があれば、平日限定で(騒がしいのは苦手なので)連泊しての周辺散策したいと思える場所でした。 取り敢えず、写真撮ったので参考にしていただけたら…と思います。

L'hôtel se trouvait à environ cinq minutes à pied de la gare et il y avait une supérette à proximité, ce qui était très pratique. Je suis arrivé tard dans la nuit, mais j'ai pu m'enregistrer à la réception. J'ai fait mon check-out moi-même en partant. Il y a aussi un grand bain public au dernier étage. Il était ouvert jusqu'à 23 h, j'en ai donc profité dès 6 h le lendemain matin. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux.

Ils sont très proches de restaurants, bars, parcs et de nombreux magasins différents et à 2 minutes à pied de la gare et le petit-déjeuner buffet est si délicieux.

I think this hotel is run by an elderly couple, and they were lovely. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The bathroom is quite compact, but it wasn’t a problem for me at all :)

La nuit dernière, j'ai pris la première ligne de roulement. Je vis à l'hôtel Grand Palais. La réception a préparé de nombreuses installations de service qui permettront de choisir facilement les installations nécessaires. La chambre n'est pas automatiquement verrouillée, mais je peux être sûre parce que je peux la verrouiller à l'intérieur. La chambre a également été décorée proprement et confortablement. Le personnel est aussi très aimable et je peux vivre confortablement. Les zones autour de l'hôtel sont proches de la ville et il y a beaucoup de restaurants, donc vous n'avez pas à vous inquiéter pour le repas. Il est proche de la gare du palais, donc je pense qu'il s'agit d'un hôtel très pratique la nuit avant d'utiliser la première ligne de conduite. Il est également recommandé d'utiliser le jour de la nuit avant les voyages commerciaux, les voyages et les excursions sur le terrain.

Il y a un livre de dessins animés, donc je peux passer un temps facile ♪ C'est une bonne copa près de la gare.
